Costs

Although we can't list all pricing, the following is the most common work we find on jobs.

Service calls, minimum trip charge is $200 + tax. Most sc/repairs usually can be done within an hour's time.

Call today, we are semi retired but would like the opportunity to help you.

Most other service companies advertise a lower "Diagnostic fee" and then charge another fee to repair. Our pay structure is the SC or travel fee and up to an hours worth of labor to repair the problem which is usually cheaper than the lower "Diagnostic fee" other companies advertise and then add on the actual repair price after finding any problems. At a lower SC or "Diagnostic fee" the only way the other companies can make any profit requires for them to find a problem and add pricing to it if needed or not.

Our pay structure doesn't encourge adding costs that are unnecessary as the companies charging low "Diagnostic fees" most certainly have to and do.

If we find units or parts that will last another 3 years, we suggest we change it then not now unless it costs you more if we don't.

Our Service/Travel expense charge is included in the minimum charge of $200 to your location if less than 40 miles away. From 41 to 60 miles away the Service/Travel expense is increased to raise the minimum to $225

Our hourly labor rate is $100 / Hr. past one hour.
Up to one hour of service is included in the minimum fee
plus taxes for your area.

Parts and materials are extra.

On some parts we use flat pricing for the job.

On full installs or unit replacments, we'll quote the job in advance.
System installs start at $4,000 and up.
All full installs and major repairs are priced for cash payment and /or FTL financing. If you intend to use a credit card, please let us know before the quote as your credit card company charges us 3% to 4% to run it and we want to give you our best pricing we can for the job.


Payment

We normally require payment immediately after the completion of the job.
We accept Cash, Check, Credit Card and have partnered with FTL Finance for financing options.

Minimum Charge

Our minimum charge for getting there and back is $200 plus tax.

This includes the SC/Travel expense of less than 40 miles
and minimum labor of $200 up to 1 hour. The cost is $25 more over 40 miles up to 60 miles plus tax for your area.

If Refrigerant (Freon) is needed and put in, there is a 1lb minimum charge.


Flat Pricing

Some of our jobs and part replacments we use flat pricing.
This is a one price for the job within the time and expense criteria.

  • Our flat pricing is changeout of condenser fan motors. Most of the 14 seer and lower condenser motors are changed out at the price of $425 plus tax.

  • Our flat pricing is changeout of evaporator blower motors changed out at the starting price of $425 plus tax unless they are higher effeciency ECM motors for evaporators which are higher and run around $750 plus tax.

  • Our flat pricing on most draft motors for furnaces are changed out at a the price of $550 plus tax.

  • On jobs that require only cap changouts, contactor changeouts, or of one item changeouts, the total costs is $200 for the part, sc and trip under 40 miles, Some parts are higher making the total charge higher.

  • Most relays, contactors, 4 stage sequensers are priced in the range of $35 to $75 each above the one item charge if more are needed.



    • Other

  • On condenser changeouts, a refrigerant disposal fee may be charged as well if there's refrigerant to be disposed of.
           The salvaged unit disposal with refrigerant in it is free.

  • Extra travel fees over 40 miles one way may or may not be waved.



    Refrigerant (Freon) Costs


    The government has abolished the manufacturing of R22.
    We will continue selling what we have in stock till there is no more to sell.

    R22 condensers can still be used after all R22 is sold by changing over the existing machine to 407C when and if refrigerant is needed.
    Alternative refrigerants are available at a fraction of the price if needed. We try to stay competitive and below our competitors price.

    Other tech companies charge the serivce call fee and then after figuring out the problem tell you what the extra labor and fees will be.
    Our price structure has the labor priced in and included up to 1 hour for the repair needed.

    FYI, Since 6-12-21 Refrigerant has tripled as far as our buying price. Hopefully it will come down some. We will continue to try to be competitive in the pricing regardless.
